Our Core Values

Advocacy & meaningful change

  • Set up Black Caucus in all the Towns/Cities to encourage the meeting of minds, and collaborate on issues to move our community forward.

  • To continuously connect with people in our community, and other grassroots organizations to understand areas of improvement. Be the voice to make change happen for our African Caribbean community through continuous and persistent advocacy to address equitable dealings that affect us. We will work will all thought leaders and be the face for change and partnership, solicit ideas, and be a part of problem resolution in our region.

Supporting an Inclusive community

  • Let's Talk Virtual Series:  is a virtual platform where we educate, provide information, and have those difficult conversations within our community, between leaders of other local organizations, elected officials, and leaders of public and private organizations in the Halton Region. This is an avenue to continue the dialogue and work together for a better community to ensure no one is left behind irrespective of race, creed, religion, and more.

  • Through collaboration with other local organizations in the region. We are aware that there are many organizations doing wonderful things in the Region. We are focused on proactively reaching out and working together to make a meaningful impact and tangible change in our community.

Build and strengthen our African Caribbean Community

  • Social and Economic Empowerment: We want to support our community in improving our social-economic outlook through workshops, seminars, and training. Continuously educate ourselves on the impact of volunteering, taking advantage of subject matter experts within and outside of our community to provide resources. Explore various ways to improve our economic outlook through various improvement mechanisms and resources available to us.

  • Youth Empowerment: Our focus is on our youths. They are the leaders of tomorrow, and we want to ensure they have the resources to be their best self. We will continue to provide targeted workshops and seminars to encourage, provide information and educate them and their families.

  • Political Empowerment: Provide relevant support to community members that might be interested in understanding politics better and what it takes to be engaged in the process and run for an elected position.

Cultural Education

  • Cultural Enlightenment: This is important because and African Caribbean we have very rich and diverse cultures.
